physiokinetix training - OVERVIEW
Paul Kelly’s PhysioKinetix Training (PKT) is a series of restorative, functional techniques designed to stand on its own as well as complement and enhance the techniques you learn as a LMT. By combining these two systems, massage therapists, personal trainers, physical therapists, and various other therapists are better able to align, balance and neurologically re-educate the neuromuscular system to create long lasting, life changing effects. For a while Paul realized that there wasn't thorough enough assessments and techniques taught to LMT's so in 2020 he decided to start releasing a set of Manual Therapy based courses, integrated with the 4 core levels of Physiokinetix, in order to fill the gap and complete the circle of his "Treatment & Training" protocol used in his own practice.
physiokinetix Manual Therapy - advanced assessments/awareness
Physiokinetix Manual Therapy is the direct on-the-table complement to the core PhysioKinetix Training system. This includes a combination of muscle balancing, neurologic facilitating, and joint flexibility techniques that balance and align the body for optimal body performance. This, combined with PhysioKinetix Training techniques, gives a therapist all of the tools necessary to eliminate chronic pain and improve mobility for a client without the need for surgery.
This Course will take the practitioner on a in-depth evidence informed look at Orthopedic, Neurologic, and Functional assessments. This course is designed to give the practitioner a step by step protocol that will lead to treating the cause and not the symptoms.
Learn:
The Bio-Psycho-Social approach to the History taking process
How to understand Movement Dysfunction in Gait
What to look for in a Proper Structural Observation standing and on the therapy table
How to determine if it is coming from a Central Neurologic issue or a Peripheral
Proper hand placements for Orthopedic tests for Joint Pathologies
Functional Movements that Bring Awareness to Clients Restrictions
Create a Movement Plan for clients to build a Therapeutic Alliance with your practice
Paul’s Multidisciplinary Approach to treatments and training will allow you to be the Go To Manual and Movement Specialist. Paul’s easy to understand approach to finding the cause through assessment will give you the confidence and ability to treat complex conditions that often get overlooked in traditional therapies.
This course is a prerequisite for our first Manual Therapy Treatment courses: "Manual Joint Kinematic Treatments (Spinal)" & Manual Joint Kinematic Treatments (Extremities)

physiokinetix training - Level 1: MOBILITY
Level 1 encompasses a restorative, functional approach to movement. Start with the fundamentals of primal movements; work out of gravity, on the floor/table and then move to a standing model, in gravity. Explore 8 techniques with numerous Neuro-Modifiers and Graded Exposure Movements that will help restore intrinsic strength, neural strength, skeletal alignment, and improve pain through proper Cross Patterning. This level can be used as a Pain Management routine, a warm-up to the day, before other Levels in this program, or just to feel good and get back into life.
