Desmond is our first Physiokinetix: Mobility Certifed in the state of Washington!
Desmond L. Diaz, LMT, is a nationally certified, State Licensed Massage Therapist and AFFA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer. Desmond has over fifteen (15) years experience in health care in various rehab settings including Sports Rehab, hospital inpatient & outpatient settings, independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing settings. He has worked with diverse populations ranging from youth through late adulthood, wellness enthusiast to Pro and Olympic athlete, delivering massage and therapeutic care to individuals and groups including serving as a therapist at such events as: the Disney Marathon, Radio Disney’s Diva’s on a Dime Event, NKKU Karate and Kung Fu Olympics, and March of Dimes Mudd Volleyball. He is Currently one of the go to therapists working with athletes from multiple sports leagues and teams, such as Orlando City Soccer(MLS), Orlando Pride(NWSL), USMNT &USWNT(US Soccer), Tampa Bay Bucs(NFL), Atlanta Braves, Cirque Du Soleil, WWE, USTAF(Team USA), and currently, the Seattle Mariners.
Desmond is also a 6th degree black belt in martial arts with over twenty (20) years as an instructor, training all age groups. He has used self-defense and high-intensity training regimens to prepare himself and his students for tournament competitions. Currently, he is an athlete/coach of the US Martial Arts National Team, Is a 2x Gold and Silver Medalist at the TAFISA World Martial Arts Games.

Skilled in various massage modalities, including Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Swedish Massage, Orthopedic, and Sports Massage. Desmond integrates his knowledge of the human body, biomechanics, and his experience in rehabilitation into the application of a variety of assessment and treatment techniques delivered through his client customized routines. Desmonds unique perspective on the therapeutic massage, by combining his expertise as an instructor, his passion for quality care, and his commitment to helping to make your massage session an innovative, enjoyable and successful experience for both therapist and patient alike is what led him to Paul Kelly as early as November of 2020, inquiring on the what Physiokinetix can do to evolve his skill set. Once he Started with the online courses, he traveled all around for each courses soaking up each bit of information and bringing it back to his clients and creating new success stories.
