John Rios is new to the Knoxville area but not new to the fitness and nutrition industry.
He has over 25 years experience with personal training, ranging from individuals from 11-89 years of age.
John specialize in all types of training from the novice to experienced. His style of training is based on your
individual needs, including high intensity interval training, weightlifting, and cardio. He also loves helping
others see and experience what their bodies are capable of with just enough hard work. John makes it his goal
to help you achieve a happy and well-balanced lifestyle that will help minimize the risk of future health
Johns latest realm of fitness and well being is helping individuals with pain management and mobility. He is
very empathetic with helping those with past injuries and disabilities. He recognizes the importance of
health and the ability to perform activities of daily living.
Prior to moving to Knoxville, John trained in many venues including fitness studios, athletic clubs,
cross fit gyms, home studios, virtually, and outside venues including boot camps conducted for soldiers in the
101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, KY. For the last eleven years John was a personal trainer at
Hillwood Country Club in Nashville.
John is a Certified Personal Trainer since 1998 through AFFA/NASM and is CPR/AED certified for adults and infants. He received his undergrad from Ballarmine University and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
